Brigitte's Mazot in Chamonix is a cosy little chalet, with a stunning view of Mont Blanc. Situated in the area of Les Moussoux, it is an easy stroll in to Chamonix yet you can sit on a delightful south-facing balcony in peace and enjoy the mountains. You can walk up to the main Chamonix lift (10 mins in ski boots) for skiing on the Brévent, or take the ski bus from here to the other ski areas.
Inside there is a studio room with double sofa bed, corner kitchen with fridge and hob and a shower room. There is parking. Nearby is Stephen's Mazot, so if there are four of you why not rent both?
