
Avignon is one of the most beautiful historic cities in Provence. Located on the banks of the Rhône River the city is known for its medieval architecture lively food culture traditional markets and its famous summer arts festival.

Every July the city comes alive during the Avignon Festival which is one of the world’s most important theatre and performing arts festivals. For three weeks the streets fill with performers posters and visitors from around the world creating a vibrant and exciting atmosphere.
