With rolling hills and spectacular views, cycling around Suzette is a great way to experience this part of Provence. Whether you prefer a leisurely ride or a more serious route, there are plenty of charming villages and cafés along the way for coffee and lunch. Some great routes and ideas can be found here.
For experienced cyclists, the area offers one of the most famous climbs in the world: Mont Ventoux. A popular starting point is the village of Malucène, about a 20 minute drive from Suzette.
Mont Ventoux has featured many times in the Tour de France and is considered one of the cycling's most iconic challenges. Even if you choose not to ride all the way to the summit, the surrounding roads offer incredible scenery.
There are good rental shops nearby. Most offer road bikes and e-bikes. Our favourite is Provence Cycles in Malaucène.
