A short drive from Suzette brings you to Barroux Castle, a hilltop fortress with wide views across the valley. Children enjoy exploring the towers and walls while parents can take in views towards Mont Ventoux. The nearby village is also a nice place to stop for lunch.
Vaison-la-Romaine is one of the most interesting historic towns in the region. It is known for its Roman ruins and medieval old town. Families can explore ancient streets, Roman villas and cross the old stone bridge to the hilltop village.
